Harry Potter: An Obsession?

Part 1
I have reread The Order of Phoenix and re-reading Philosopher's Stone now.
I have watched Philosopher's Stone (aka Sorceror's Stone) and Chamber of Secret over and over again.
I have HP wallpaper and screensaver on my notebook.
I have the softcopy of HP.
I have the box set of HP 1 - 4.
I am a member of MuggleNet.
I asked my friend in Oz to get me HP stamps.
And I am writing about HP here. The question is, Am I obsessed with Harry Potter?

This is how it begins ...

It all started with Prisoner of Azkaban. Warner Bros has just released the 3rd instalment of the HP series. I have not seen Sorceror's Stone nor Chamber of Secret until a month ago. I was too proud to be seen lining up with the rest of the kids for HP1 and HP2. Someone asked me to go for the movie - HP and the Sorceror's Stone, I said "No. I don't watch children's show". Next year I was asked to go again, yet I was firm with my answer. But this year, I thought why not? I have not been to the movies for some time and the craze has died down. So I went along. I went to watch it with my sis and cousin.

After the movie, I started asking questions. I do not know what a muggle is. Nor do I know anything about Ron or Hermione...or who Dumbledore is!! I am so newbie about HP. My sis then tell me what she knew...while chatting on the net. But that wasn't enough. I started to look up for HP on the net. And that was not enough too. I asked friends about HP and one friend, Benny.. happened to have not watch HP 1 and HP2 too before watching POA. I told him I want to get the books but the box set is out of stock. He said no worry, he found the softcopy on the net. He is the greatest! Yeah, I know ... it is not right to have the softcopy and etc, etc... but I just can't wait for the book. While waiting for the stock to arrive, I thought I will just read the softcopy first. I was halfway reading Book 5 online when I got my first HP book - The Order of Phoenix. No, the box set for 1 - 4 is still out of stock.

But I also want to watch HP1 and HP2 - not just read it! I pestered my colleague to borrow me his DVD collection. I have watched it again and again before he bought the DVD for me... and then only I returned his copies. It was like a batter trade! I cannot imagine of not owning it. That's the only DVD I will put on when I am on the threadmill. Seeing a few scene is better than nothing. Yes, just a few scenes will keep me satisfied. It is like having a football fever.
