I don't love my housemate but I don't hate them either

I was reading 'Things I hate about my housemate' at http://ihatemyflatmate.blogspot.com/ - I never had much problem with my housemates. I used to live with a Malaysian male and a Nigerian girl when I was studying abroad. They hated each other. I spent most of the time in my friend's apartment so I guess, they don't have an excuse or find time to hate me!
A few occassions I remembered well:-
    1. The guy bought a chicken back and decided to have a chicken meal with his friend. They closed the kitchen door because they wanted to re-fry the chicken to make it crispy I supposed. They decided to use the wok instead of microwave. When I opened the door to the kitchen, I saw flame at the side of the stoves and those 2 guys were trying to put off the fire. Apparently, they filled up the wok with oil as much as the wok can take ... and when they tried to stir or turn the chicken around, some oil spilled.
    2. I was burning midnight-oil with a coursemate. We were rushing to complete our Database Project which was due the next morning. At about 4am, I went to the toilet. When I was walking back to my room, I saw something in the kitchen (the light was off). I nearly shouted when the shadow turned. It was the Nigerian girl. She was wearing her jubah - a cloak which cover a person head to toe - similar to what the Arab lady will wear). I actually thought I saw a ghost.
    3. This happened to a friend. He sent his clothes to the laundry room. After putting money into the machine, he went off. When it was about time to collect his clothes, he saw a friend of my Nigerian housemate there. There's only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. The dryer is empty so, what is the girl waiting for ... he wondered. The girl left abruptly. When the guy was unloading his clothes, he found a few pieces which does not belong to him. The girl actually chucked in her undies together with the guy clothes in order to get a free-wash.

Those were one of the few memorable things. I still laugh when I think about it.

A Wife's Diary Vs Husband's Diary

I got this from a friend this morning. I think it is pretty funny - woman think too much sometimes...and I am one of them. ;)
WIFE's DIARY

Sunday night - I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a cafe to have some coffee. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment.

Conversation wasn't flowing so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk, he agreed but he kept quiet and absent. I asked him what was wrong - he said, "Nothing." I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said it had nothing to do with me and not to worry.

On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior; I don't know why he didn't say, "I love u, too." When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there and watched TV; he seemed distant and absent.

Finally I decided to go to bed. About 10 minutes later he came to bed. I decided that I could not take it anymore, so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep. I started crying and cried until I too fell asleep. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else.

My life is a disaster.
