The dinner & The Grudge

Attended my cousin's wedding dinner last Saturday night. It was a rather big event ... with 34 tables for 340 guests. Me and a couple of my other cousins were picked to be the dinner's usher. I guess we were a bunch of a lousy ushers - we stood together most of the time asking each other, 'Who is this?'.

My uncle invited a few performers to sing. But the music was too loud, I thought I was going deaf. My table was quite empty...there were only 7 of us. Most of the food left untouch (this is not usually the case) due to the deafening noise.

Went to watch The Grudge the next day. It was pretty spooky I think ...not too sure cos I had my eyes shut whenever I felt the ghost is about to appear. What's with the current trend of spooky movies anyway? Most of them have long hair...and you won't be able to see their faces...and they tend to crawl instead of walk. I think the best was still The Ring -the ghost actually crawl out from the tv...but to me, once you have a movie with ghost crawling...then that should be the pioneer and the last.

Hi Zirc,

yeaaah... Ringu has more script... more story than "The Grudge" but I think The Grudge is the most scary movie I've ever seen. It's so well done that the spooks happen even when they're not supposed to happen. The problem with The Grudge is the lack of argument. There's almost no storyline... just hundreds of spooky moments. Anyway I love horror movies and I think this is one of the best!. Did you see the asian version of the movie or the new american remake produced by Sam Raimi?. I'm speaking about the original one.

BTW... sorry for my last comment... placed in what it seems to be your old blog :P. It's too late and I should be sleeping instead of writing :P.
